"Careful there," Draco said, helping his wife, Mia, along. He glanced over at his mother-in-law, Lemia, to make sure she was all right as well as they approached the front gate of the Malfoy Manor. Already there was the familiar screech of the white peacocks strutting around, much of the place now back to how it was prior to the war.
Closer to the gate, and upon recognizing Draco's magical signature, the metal gate swung openly easily. The traps and hexes dissipating for the time being.
"It's just up the walk here."

"Isn't there anything else I can help you with?"
It's not going to be long before the baby's here and Mia's starting to get restless.

She takes his hand and gives him a kiss on the cheek.
Lemia briefly excuses herself and comes back with a stack of boxes, handing two each to the elder Malfoys and one to Draco.
"You don't mind me giving your in-laws the presents you made for them, do you, Mia?" she asks.
"Not at all. And whatever did you give to Draco?"
"Ah ah ah, that's for him to open and find out," Lemia says with a kind smile.

"Chocolate pots de creme?" she asks, perhaps with a touch of jealousy.
"Chocolate coffee pots de creme," Lemia clarifies.
"Oh, you're so lucky, dear," Mia says, leaning on him in defeat.
"I'll make you some when you can have coffee again," her mother reassures her. "And you can still have what strawberry tarts and candied citrus peels we have leftover from Narcissa and Lucius's presents."
