"About sodding time!" There was a shout heard from Draco's potions rooms, and he came out, looking tired and haggard in appearance.

He then tried to shout, but it came out raspy, "Mia? Darling, where are you? I have it!"

"They'd have to now, now that we're married." He kissed the top of her head, and then her mouth.

"And I worked so hard on that reputation too." Prideful grin after the kiss.

Ooo, that was a nice kiss.

"So, when shall we go?"

He rested his head against her forehead.

"Very soon. Before you randomly turn the chaise into a chioken or a random fire or snowstorm breaks out." Not that ever happened with him as a child, no.... Dobby had bad frostbite for weeks afterwards.

"I'll keep the magic to a minimum, then. I don't want anything happening before, especially since I might be doing a little babysitting."

She doesn't want anything to happen to Boo!

"I don't imagine you want to help with that, do you?"

Sharp look at her, ".......Babysitting?"

"Yes, babysitting. There's a little girl in the bar who doesn't have her parents around. I said that I would help however I can, which likely means babysitting."

"But, but we both have a great deal of work here. And we have some years before children, are you sure that's wise?"

"I don't see a problem with it. It's never to early to get used to caring for children and it wouldn't be as hard as having to watch her all the time. And she already knows me, the cute little thing. We had a fun time, drinking lemonade and playing with ice flowers."

She looks very happy about it.

"But..." He then pouted at the idea. "They're very messy, and loud. And they usually smell."

"Maybe a little, but it's not the end of the world if there's a little mess to clean up or a little noise. Have you even met Boo? She's such a sweet little girl."

"Don't know, what does she look like?"

[gorgonfondness]

"She's a toddler with dark hair pulled into two pigtails. She has a blanket fort in the bar and likes to sing a lot."

He blinked as he recalled.

"Oh yes, I saw her in my fox form, she was all right. Noisy, but she didn't shout or pull on my ears."

"See? It doesn't sound like she'll be any trouble."

Well, children are always trouble, but Boo is the fun sort of trouble. Lemonade slushes before dinner trouble and taking all of the dining room chairs to make a blanket fort trouble.

"I suppose not," he allowed.

"Besides, I've only left the note saying I was willing to help just before leaving Milliways. It might be a while before I have to do anything. And as I said, we'll have to worry about a wand first."

But yay for him getting as close to agreeing as he was ever going to get anyway!

It was a start.

"Right, I have some potion ready for whenever you want to go wand shopping."

"No time like the present?"

He Accio'd the flask to himself, and offered his arm to his wife.

"Shall we then?"

She takes his arm with a smile and nods.

A few doors later, and some Polyjuice, and there was a seeming young man with a pompadour escorting Mia through Diagon Alley.

"There it is, Ollivander's. Just go ahead in, and say you lost your wand in the war or something. Sure he'd be understanding." Since funny enough, *he* lost two wands in the war. Luckily one was only temporary.

"All right, Nash," she says with a giggle.

She walks towards the door, but then comes back, holds out a few pieces of wizarding money, and asks, "How do these work again?"

"That's a Galleon, that's Sickle, and that's a Knut." He then gave her a brief overview of the money rate and exchange. Also the likely cost of a wand.

"Ready then?" Opening the door for her.

"All right. I should be fine, then."

She goes in and after a few tries comes out with a rowan wand with a phoenix feather core, 9 3/4 inches. Charmingly firm, as Mister Ollivander put it. It cost a fair amount of Galleons, but certainly not a ripoff.

Ollivander watched her leave the shop, and then stepped out. Watching the unfamiliar young man behave very curiously familiar.

"Oh Miss Ausa, don't be afraid to stop back if you ever need anything, my dear."

Still eyeing the young man with her, "And you, young sir, need to work on your potion timing. Your hair is showing." And he then shut the door firmly as he stepped back inside.

Draco flinched, and glanced at his faint reflection in the window where there were now long streaks of pale blond hair mixing with Nash's. He quickly took a sip, and grimaced.

"...That was close."
